The right to a thorough, impartial and prompt investigation, by an impartial decision-maker(s), and appropriate resolution of all credible complaints of Prohibited Conduct made in good faith to the University
- The right to be fully informed of the University's relevant policies and procedures;
- The right to be treated with respect by University officials
- The right to have access to campus support resources (e.g., counseling and health services (for students), Employee Assistance Program (for employees), clergy and Campus Ministry)
- The right to one advisor or support person during this process
- The right to be given equal opportunity to access, and present evidence to the investigator.
- The right to be kept informed of the status of the complaint and the anticipated resolution timeline
- The right to be informed, in writing of the outcome/resolution of the complaint and the rationale for the outcome
- The right to information about the appeals process and how to appeal an outcome
